Brief: Show support for a national campaign across disposable coffee cups

The #WeAreInternational is a nationwide campaign highlighting the social and economic benefits international students bring to the UK and has been adopted by a number of leading universities including the likes of the University of Oxford and the University of Manchester.

At the University of Sheffield an opportunity was identified to cross collaborate marketing with the Coffee HoUSe coffee brand. Spanning across the city of Sheffield with 19 outlets and serving hundreds of thousands of hot drinks every year, adapting the cup design would provide an obvious platform for increased brand awareness and sense of inclusivity.

To achieve a brand familiarity, the finalised cup design adopted the template of the then current artwork I had previously also created. 

 

The key change was the inclusion of 14 languages - including the most commonly spoken: Mandarin and Hindi.
