The National Centre for Excellence in The Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM), funded by The Department for Education, aim to raise levels of achievement in maths, and to increase appreciation of the power and wonder of maths, across the school, sixth form college and further education system.

​

Working in collaboration with the creators of the hit CBeebies 2019 BAFTA award-winning show, Numberblocks, an educational television series aimed at introducing early number concepts to pre-school and year 1 children, an opportunity was identified to produce a collection of accompanying teacher-classroom materials. 

​

The materials, in the form of animated PowerPoints, aim to support child learning and work in conjunction with the respected BBC television episode. 

​

I was tasked with the devising the style & application guidelines and certifying all materials ready for publication. Subsequent social media marketing support to aid in the launch was also provided. 

​

The Numberblocks classroom PowerPoints have proved incredibly popular with teachers and parents alike and received hundreds of thousands of downloads.
