Top Notch Scotch Egg, based in Durham, is a newly established bakery specialising in scotch eggs.
Located close to the Beamish Open Air Museum, the UK's most popular of its kind, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors each year - an opportunity was identified. The objective was to create a high quality 'signature' food offering lead by a bold and vibrant brand. Following a series of exceptional reviews from taste tests, the humble scotch egg was adjudged to be the answer.
To achieve the desired brand positioning a complete overhaul of materials and communications was undertaken including: logo design, point of sale, signage and business cards.
Future development is to include social media guidance, website production and menu development with a view to also explore the pop-up food vendor market.
